HOW DO I UPLOAD PHOTOS?
To upload an avatar photo just click MY ACCOUNT and to the left you will see your default sillohette pic. Right under that, it says "Change Picture". Just click on that and it will take you to the AVATAR UPLOAD PAGE where you can upload a picture for your avatar.
Photos that are too large will not upload. If your photos need to be resized, you can do it at: shrinkpictures.com
To upload other pics into your gallery, click MY ACCOUNT and to the right of your avatar pic, the menu has the option "Add Photos". Just click on that and it will take you to the GALLERY UPLOAD page where you can upload pics.
By the way, if you don't want your pics in the public gallery just set your picture(s) to:
Image Category: PERSONAL
Who can view: FRIENDS
HOW DO I EDIT/CUSTOMIZE MY PROFILE?
To edit your profile, go to MY ACCOUNT and then right next to your picture, the first option is "Edit Profile". This takes you to the PROFILE SETTINGS page. To the right, there is the option, "Design My Profile". Click that and that takes you to the DESIGN PAGE.
On this DESIGN PAGE page, at the top left, it says, [View profile layout guide]. If you click that, an image shows up with a "MAP" of all the different parts of your profile page that you can assign different colors to.
Just find what part of your profile page you want to edit, and then select it on the menu. When you click [Select Colors] next to your selection, you can choose any color you wish from the menu. You can also make just about any part of your profile transparent if you wish also, so that your background shows through. To do this, simply instead of choosing a color, simply click "Make Item Transparent". Remember to click "Save Profile Settings" and you're done!
CAN I USE CODES FROM THOSE "PIMP MY MYSPACE" SITES HERE ON LINKTU?
You are welcome to try. Some of them work, some of them don't, some of them kind of work, but not totally as intended. This is because these codes were designed for MySpace, not Linktu, so they may not work exactly like they are supposed to.
WHAT IS LINKTU'S POLICY ON ADULT IMAGES, CENSORSHIP, ETC?
The short answer is, for now, the imageboard section of the site is for ADULTS ONLY as stated in the warning page that is displayed before you enter the imageboard. Therefore, in that section, there are no rules (except national law, such as no child porn, etc.)
In the rest of the site, members are 13 and up, just like MySpace and Facebook, so for now, we can not allow images that are illegal for underage people to view (i.e. nudity) in your personal galleries (which also show up in the public galleries), in the forums, in comments, or anywhere else in the rest of the site. For now.
We ARE working on making the site so you can mark images and/or videos as "ADULT" and then only 18+ members can view that image, but getting that set up costs programming revenue that this site does not at this stage have(feel free to DONATE). Hopefully We are going to implement this feature in the near future.
WHAT DO THOSE LITTLE BLUE STARS WITH THE NUMBER IN THE BRACKETS MEAN?
Next to your profile picure, underneath your gender, age, location & profile views, you will notice some little blue stars with a number in brackets.
Those are your activity points. The more active you are on the site i.e. the more widespread you are throughout the site, in the forums, polls, quizes, gallery, videos, etc. the more stars and points you have and the more colorful the stars become. So if you want a ton of stars and points, just post a bunch of blogs and bulletins, submit some pictues and videos, comment on eveyone else's pics and vids, post responses to all the posts in the forums, vote in all the polls, and maybe create some polls and quizes of your own.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED & HELP LINKTU?
a) Tell all your family, friends, coworkers, etc. to join Linktu. Use the FRIEND INVITER to invite all your MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Hi5, Orkut friends and all your email contact list to join Linktu. Just go to MY ACCOUNT > INVITE.
b) Go to other sites that have imageboards such as 4Chan.org, 7Chan.org, 420Chan.org, 99Chan.org, etc. and post images and comments promoting Linktu. Some good images for this can be found at the FEATURED section of the gallery at: linktu.com/gallery/featured.
c) Donate money to Linktu by hitting the DONATE button on the HOME page. You can enter any amount you want, no amount is too small or too big. This money does not go into anyone's personal pocket and instead every cent goes towards advertising and site upgrades.
d) Be active on the site. The more active everyone is the more a fun place Linktu is to be. Be active in the Live Chat, comment on eveyone else's pages, Post images & text in the Imageboard, post a bunch of blogs and bulletins, submit some pictures and videos, pics and vids, post responses to all the posts in the forums, vote in all the polls, and maybe create some polls of your own. Plus remember, the more active on Linktu you are, the more cool little stars you get on your page =)
